1970s Kenneth Jay Lane Ceramic Eye of Horus Pendant Necklace

Kenneth Jay Lane Egyptian Revival Eye of Horus pendant necklace made in 1975. The pendant is made out of a grey ceramic with a crackled glaze in the shape of the Eye of Horus. The eye of Horus is an ancient Egyptian symbol for prosperity and protection. The pendant hangs from a natural colored braided cord measuring 18 1/2" long. The pendant measures 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" and is signed, "Kenneth Lane" on the back. This necklace is featured on page 51 of Kenneth Jay Lane's book, "Faking It". It describes the necklace as being part of a group of Egyptian inspired pendants made in 1975. Very good condition with a little wear to one of the cord's gold-tone caps - see photo #5.
