1940s Castlecliff Vermeil Insect Earrings

This is an adorable pair of clip-on insect earrings made by Castlecliff in the 1940s. They are sterling silver plated in gold - vermeil. The body of each insect is made out of a carved piece of pink glass and the insects have pink rhinestone eyes. The back of one wing is marked, "Castlecliff" and the back of the other wing is marked "Sterling". They are 1 1/4" long x 1/2" wide.
