Christian Dior Wooden Modernist Brooch 1970

Fabulous wood and gold-tone Christian Dior modernist brooch made in 1970. The back of the brooch is signed, '1970 Chr.Dior Germany'. I love how these early Dior pieces were dated. This piece was made by Henkel and Grosse in Germany - the company that made jewelry for Dior starting in 1955 and continuing for the next 50 years. The brooch measures 2" x 1 3/4". Excellent condition.
