1950s Hermes Scarf A La Fenetre Du Chasseur
1950s Hermès scarf titled, ‘A la Fenetre du Chasseur’ (The Hunter's Window) and designed in 1958 by Henri Linares. It is a beautiful and hard to find scarf depicted in shades of blue. It measures 33" x 34". Linares was born in 1904 and was a prolific French artist, whose primary focus was on detailed studies of hunting trophies. His drawings are filled with incredible detail and are reminiscent of paintings of the early 17th century Northern Renaissance artists. The scarf has been freshly dry cleaned. It has some minor wear marks - and a very small hole (see photo #8). Original issue, 90cm.
