Napier Goldtone Shell Dangle Earrings
Iconic Napier gold-tone shell dangle clip earrings. Napier released these earrings twice - once in the 1950s and again in the 1980s. This pair is from the 1980s. They were designed by the late jewelry designer, Eugene Bertolli. They feature shell charms which include clam, oyster and mussel shells. The earrings measure 2 1/4" long and are marked, 'Napier' on the backs of the clips. They are included in the book 'The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry'.
