1950s Magenta 'Cumquat' Series Dangle Earrings Napier

These dangle clip earrings are from Napier's 1955 'moonglow cumquat' series - featured on page 310 of the book, 'The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry'. The earrings each consist of a magenta colored lucite bead which hangs down from a gold-tone ball. The beads are made out of a resin named, 'moonglow' by Napier because of is luminous quality. Each one is topped with a thick gold-tone curled metal tendril and measures 1 3/4" long. They are marked, 'Napier' on the back of the clips. The 'moonglow' cumquat series had enormous success in the 1950s and became a best seller for Napier. I also have the matching necklace and bracelet listed.
