1970s Pink Emilio Pucci Scarf Florence Baptistery and Bell Tower
This is a silk Emilio Pucci scarf from the early 1970s. It depicts an abstract version the famous Baptistery and Bell Tower located in Florence, Italy - the town where Emilio Pucci lived and was born. It is made up of beautiful shades of pink. It measures 25" x 25". If you look closely at an area of the white ground (See photo #4), you can see that some of the pink has worn off onto it - most likely because the scarf was kept folded in storage for a long period of time. This is not easy to see but worth noting. Also there is a small smudge which can be seen in see photo #5. The scarf's green and white Emilio Pucci tag written in script dates the scarf to the early 1970s.
