1970s Emilio Pucci Baptistery and Bell Tower Scarf
This is a silk Emilio Pucci scarf from the early 1970s. It depicts an abstract version the famous Baptistery and Bell Tower located in Florence, Italy - the town where Emilio Pucci lived and was born. It is made up of beautiful shades of pink. It measures 25" x 25". There are a few flaws to note. First of all it seems as if some of the pink has worn off onto the white ground - most likely this happened because the scarf was kept folded in storage for a long period of time (see photo #4). This is hard to see but worth noting. Also there is a small smudge (see photo #5). The scarf's green and white Emilio Pucci tag written in script dates the scarf to the early 1970s.
