1970s Pierre Cardin Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet with 14k Gold Letter L
1970s sterling silver modernist Pierre Cardin cuff bracelet with a 14k gold letter "L" on the front. Such a fab find! I only wish that I had a name beginning with the letter L. Or even a child with the initial L. The bracelet is beautifully made. Each side of the bracelet has a geometric shape cutout. The inside of the bracelet is marked, "Pierre Cardin Paris New York Sterling Silver Argent 14K". Argent means that the silver is even more pure than regular sterling. Regular sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver while argent sterling silver is 93.5% pure. Argent sterling is both brighter and whiter than regular sterling silver but because it is more pure, it is also a bit softer than regular sterling. The bracelet is an outstanding example of modernist, Space Age Pierre Cardin. It is in overall good condition with light surface scratches throughout. There is one larger scuff mark to the lower right of the L. See photos.
