Hermès 1984 ABC Summer Olympics Scarf

Rare Hermès 1984 ABC Summer Olympics scarf designed by the artist, Julia Abadie. Abadie was commissioned by the U.S. television channel, ‘ABC’ to create this scarf for the Los Angeles Summer Olympics. The design features the Olympic flame in the center, the ABC logo and archery bows printed on a patterned silk jacquard. In the lower left corner, ‘1984 Summer Games’ is written and in the lower right corner, ‘Hermes Paris’ is written. A total of 1,600 of these scarves were created. The scarf measures 90cm square. It has been dry cleaned and is in good condition but does have a few spots best seen in photos #10 and #11.
