1970s Gucci Horsebit Pattern Scarf

Silk Gucci horsebit pattern scarf from 1971. It depicts iconic Gucci horsebits in beautiful ochre and sienna tones. The scarf has a border that surrounds the horsebit pattern and hand-stitched rolled edges. The  1970s Gucci signature logo is featured in each of the scarf's four corners. It measures 34" x 34" and is the perfect size to wear around you neck or as a head wrap. The scarf is featured in Assouline's book, 'Gucci The Art of Silk' as a head wrap on both Queen Elizabeth and Marissa Berenson. The scarf is in overall good condition but it has faint water spots in one area of the border and another faint mark in another area of the border -see photos #9 and #10.
