1950s Magenta 'Cumquat' Series Pendant Necklace Napier

This necklace is from Napier's 1955 'moonglow cumquat' series - featured on page 310 of the book, 'The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry'. The necklace consists of three, tiered magenta colored lucite beads which make up a pendant measuring 4" long. The beads are made out of a resin named, 'moonglow' by Napier because of is luminous quality. Each bead is topped with thick gold-tone curled metal tendrils. The pendant hangs from an adjustable gold-tone chain and can be worn from 15" long to 17" long. The necklace is marked, 'Napier' on the back of the clasp and is in very good condition. The 'moonglow' cumquat series had enormous success in the 1950s and became a best seller for Napier. I also have the matching earrings and bracelet listed.
