Antique Turquoise Colored Majolica Fan Plate 1890s

Beautiful antique Majolica plate from circa 1890 and 1918. Its upper half features an open floral fan whose cord leads to the lower part which is adorned with a delicate cherry blossom branch and has a neoclassical edge. The majority of the plate is painted in a magnificent turquoise blue color. It measures 8" in diameter and is in good condition with no chips and minimal wear. The back of the plate is stamped "U & C S" a mark used on majolica pottery made by PM&M - a German pottery company. The mark was used between 1890 and 1918.
