1950s Coppola e Toppo Amber Crystal Beaded Brass Cuff Bracelet

Fabulous 1950s Coppola e Toppo amber crystal beaded cuff bracelet. The bracelet is made out of brass and is embellished with several sizes of amber and clear colored faceted crystal beads to form a striking intricate design. It is signed, "Made in Italy by Coppola e Toppo" on the back. The interior of the bracelet measures 6" around and has an opening measuring 1" wide. The bracelet is in good condition, with minor wear to the brass framing which does not significantly affect the overall appearance of a piece of this age. 

Coppola e Toppo was formed in the late 1940′s by the brother and sister designer duo, Bruno Coppola and Lyda Toppo in Milan, Italy. After small commissions for Dior and Balenciaga, Elsa Schiaparelli commissioned a line of faux coral bead jewelry, which launched them to the top of the couture fashion echelon. Pucci and Valentino followed with more commissions. This allowed them to increase the number of their jewelry designs under their own Coppola e Toppo label.
