1950s Gold and Turquoise Clip Earrings Bergere
1950s gold and turquoise clip earrings made by Bergere. The earrings are gold-tone and each feature an enameled turquoise flower in the center and six turquoise colored glass beads. The earrings measure 1 1/8" in diameter and are signed, 'Bergere' on the backs of the clips. Very good condition with light wear on the backs of the earrings.
Bergere jewelry was founded in New York and was in production from 1947 to 1979. Bergere was quite well known due to the fact that they often appeared on the pages of fashion magazines and advertising posters. Bergere jewelry was sold at Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor and Marshall Fields.
