1940s Miriam Haskell White Glass Bead Tassel Necklace
This is a 1940's white glass unsigned necklace designed by Frank Hess for Miriam Haskell. It is a signature Haskell piece. The early Haskell pieces were not signed. Pieces started to be signed in 1947. The necklace is made up of five white glass bead clusters. The center cluster measures 2 3/4" long and the other four clusters measure 2" long. The last cluster on the left hand side is missing one string of beads but this is not noticeable when the necklace is being worn. There is a nice patina to the chain which is 16" long.
Length: 16 inches
Maker: Unmarked Miriam Haskell
Clasp: spring ring clasp
Material: Glass beads, brass
Condition: Good vintage condition. There is a string of beads missing from the cluster on the left hand-side of the necklace. Not noticeable when the necklace is being worn and you have to really look for it.
