Vintage Nantucket Style Basket Purse

Vintage Nantucket style basket purse. It is an oval covered basket that is made out of wicker and wood. It has a faux ivory piece on the top that is carved in the shape of a swordfish. The ivory pieces at the sides of the basket and at the front are made out of real bone. The bag measures 6" high without the handles and 12" high with the handles. The base measures approximately 7" x 5". The bag closes with a clasp at the front. Overall the basket is in very good condition.
